The Ver'gomsh had even managed to launch a few retaliatory raids of their own, and according to rumors they'd only grow stronger in the coming years due to trade with powers in the western part of the continent. Theudonia had attempted to take more land from them in the following decades, with each attempt performing worse than the last. In the many years since the initial push, the Ver'gomsh had undergone many reforms, reforms that had turned them into quite the difficult nut to crack. A great army had been recruited to launch an invasion into the south, pushing the tribes east of the Dragon's Tongue and west of Mount Scylla. Unfortunately for them, the Kings and Queens of Theudonia had held ambitions that placed them into direct conflict with the Orcish tribes. She'd learned a bit about Theudonia's foreign relations at the Temple, though the only Orcs that Olivia remembered being mentioned were the Ver'gomsh Tribal Federation that had once lived in the Kingdom's southern lands.
Olivia quickly followed after the older girl, mulling over what she'd said.
"It seems they're getting things ready for another push against the Orcs." Karin muttered to herself, letting go of Olivia and stepping out onto the street. Karin simply sighed and shook her head, staring at the back of the carriage with an odd expression on her face. Olivia let out a squeak of surprise as she felt herself get pulled back by the collar, with her subsequent beratement of the perpetrator only being halted due to a carriage suddenly moving through where she'd been walking.
